What is a Casement Window?
A casement window is hinged at the side of the frame, with an additional hinge sometimes attached to the top or bottom of the window. This allows for the window to be fully opened; often using a handle in the middle of the window frame. Because of their simple yet effective design, casement windows can be configured in any layout that your property requires. They’re often paired up with each window opening outward in different directions, but single casement windows work just as well for smaller rooms.
