Slim
More Light, Less Maintenance
Our brief this time was to remove the existing timber French doors on both the front and rear elevations of the property. The client sought a solution that would provide excellent stability and security while minimising ongoing maintenance. At the same time, they were keen to maximise natural light into the home and enhance its aesthetic appeal.
For the front of the property, the Smarts Heritage aluminium system was the perfect fit. Its slim sightlines, durability, and traditional styling suited the character of the house beautifully. To give the installation a more distinctive, elegant touch, the client chose the Smarts Sensations colour “Sands”, a soft, sophisticated alternative to the more commonly used greys and blacks.

Stylish & Secure Smarts Heritage French Doors
On this project, precision and attention to detail were key. Our team began by removing the old timber French doors, taking care to protect the surrounding brickwork and interiors. The property’s face brick construction worked in our favour, providing a clean, stable surface that allowed us to achieve an exceptionally neat fit.
One of the priorities was to keep the frames as slim and unobtrusive as possible, and the Smarts Heritage system really delivered on this front. Our installers carefully measured and aligned each section to maximise the glass area and create a crisp, symmetrical look that enhanced the elevations rather than overpowering them.

Another Successful Project in West London
The results speak for themselves! The property now benefits from increased light, improved security, and a timeless finish that complements its character. The “Sands” colour adds a unique, classy edge that sets it apart from the crowd.
The client was delighted yet again and, just a few months later, entrusted us with another project at the same address, a testament to their satisfaction with the quality of our work and products.
